The Victory Basketball Program of 2016 was held at Roland Michener Public School. It began on July 18th and ended on August 12th. Players ages 11-16, with or without experience, got to participate in this fun and active experience. All players will learn new basketball skills and improve their existing ones. They will also learn valuable life skills such as teamwork and communication skills.

The players are taught by experienced basketball players in the community who are motivated to make a difference in the kids' lives.

On the last day of the program, the youth played one last tournament against each other and we had Snapd Ajax come in and take pictures of the children in action. At the end, we celebrated with awards and a cake donated by Almost Perfect. It was a memorable afternoon for every one involved.

We are very thankful to Boston Pizza, Dominos Pizza, Little Caesars, and McDonald's for donating lunch and drinks throughout the program and making it as enjoyable as possible for the youth.

Lastly, we would like to thankTheir Opportunity for sponsoring the basketball program and giving the youth of Durham an opportunity to learn many basketball and life skills.

Community Give Back: Celebrity Server Night at Boston Pizza

Some of the youth that participated in the basketball program had the opportunity to give back to the community by participating in Their Opportunity's Celebrity Server Night. 10% of the money made that night went to Their Opportunity.
